Reflection on Teaching Practice Week 4(27/11-1/12)

Monday(27/11/2023)-Today I taught the 9th standard students the pending portions of 'Work, Energy and Power'. I have completed the 'Conservation of Energy'. Later we planned to conduct the conscientisation program which is a part of the B.Ed curriculum.

Tuesday(28/11/2023)- The brochure of the conscientisation program was made and included programs like puppet show.I finished the chapters 'Solutions' in 8th standard and 'Work, Energy and Power' in 9th standard.

Wednesday(29/11/23)-

Third observation by Suni ma'am 

I arranged an observation class since Suni ma'am visited the school. I taught the lesson 'Combination of Cells' in 9th standard. Suni ma'am appreciated my aid selection which was an ICT simulation. Using it I build live circuits and showed bulbs glowing etc. Students were fascinated by it and thought it was a game. So they showed much interest in learning today using the simulator.

Thursday(30/11/2023)-We conducted the conscientisation programme today for the UP and High school students.Our topic was 'Value Education'.

Friday(1/12/2023)-I got two substitution hours so I taught the lessons 'Boiling point of water' and 'Heat Capacity of water' in 8th standard.Later I prepared question papers for unit test.

The fourth week of teaching practice has passed.The observation for this month has been over.I am also heading towards going back to my college for Community camp and Christmas holidays.Swapna teacher entrusted us with question paper preparation duties.It is not much but as a student teacher I got to learn so many aspects of being a teacher from this small task.
