Reflection on Teaching Practice Week 8(08/01-12/01)

Monday(08/01/2024)-During the 3rd period I had class in 9th standard. I taught them 'Ohm's law'.They had many doubts as it was one among their few laws. 

Tuesday(09/01/2024)-Today I had 3 class periods. I taught the 8th standard students till the 'Reaction of water with metals' and in 9th standard I finished the chapter 'Current Electricity'.

Wednesday(10/01/2024)-I helped the students to complete the exercises of the finished chapters. Since teachers went for the sent off of a teacher who got transfer, I was asked to take substitution periods during the afternoon.

Thursday(11/10/2024)-I had class in 8th standard ,I taught the lesson 'Water-the universal solvent'. In the 3rd period I taught the lesson 'Wave motion' in the 9th standard.

Friday(12/01/2024)-We executed a yoga session as per our physical education lesson plan. Apart from that I had class in both 8th and 9th standard where I taught the lessons 'Soft water and hard water' and 'Transverse waves' respectively. Also Anupama ma'am visited the school for observation.

     

It was a good week. I got many substitution periods so I could take the lessons forward. The pupils were also cooperative. Whenever I am trying to set up the ICT materials they volunteer to arrange them from the taking the laptop and putting it back when the class is over. As a teacher I also get to learn many things from the students.
