Reflection on Teaching Practice Week 9(16/01-19/01)

 Tuesday(16/01/2024)-During the first period I had class in 8th standard. I taught the lesson 'Temporary and permanent hardness. 

Fourth observation by Suni ma'am

Suni ma'am came in the afternoon for her 3rd and final observation of this phase. I taught the lesson 'Characteristics of a wave' in 9th standard. I had models for each properties like amplitude, frequency, wavelength etc. Students were attentive and took part in all the activities actively. Since it was the fourth observation altogether I wasn't anxious about it and was able to take the lesson with confidence. Suni ma'am complimented my improved blackboard skills and asked me to improve on the closure part. 

Wednesday(17/01/2024)-Today I only had a substitution period in 8th standard , there I taught the lesson 'Water Pollution'. It was an inquiry training model lesson plan. 

Thursday(18/01/2024)-I had class in both 8th and 9th standard where I taught the lessons 'Polymers' and 'Longitudinal waves' respectively.

Friday(19/01/2024)-I taught the lesson 'Speed of sound' in 9th standard. I also kept the things that I had borrowed from the school laboratory for experiments back after use. Rahul sir visited GBHSS for Reshma's observation.

After only two more weeks left to complete the school internship, I am trying to improve everyday by using different strategies in class to understand my potential. I am able to study students response and interest and accordingly try to mend myself to cater to their needs. Now I have to focus on completing the lessons by coming week and give them revisions and do other works like diagnostic test, remedial teaching and innovative aid etc.
