Reflection on Teaching Practice Week 11(29/01-02/02)

Monday(29/01/2024)-Today I taught the lesson 'Ultrasonic waves' in 9th standard. We also planned to give the treat to teachers and students on Wednesday.

Tuesday(30/01/2024)-The last lessons in 8th and 9th standards were completed today.

Wednesday(31/01/2024)- The teachers conducted a small farewell function for us. We shared our experiences of 3 month school internship. Later, we distributed snacks and soft drinks to everyone. Diagnostic test was conducted in 8th standard and based on that remedial teaching on suspensions was taken.

Thursday(01/02/2024)-I brought the innovative aid to class. It was a snake and ladder themed board game based on the chapter 'Wave motion'.

                          

Friday(02/02/2024)-We took some pictures with the students and ate lunch with them. I went and met every teachers, non teaching staff and the students to say thank you and good byes. They all wished all the best for our futures. 

Finally our 49 day long school internship programme came to an end. I came to GBHSS with expectations and anticipation and I'm returning to BNV with so much experiences and learning. I loved being with children, teaching them and engaging in other activities of the school gave an opportunity to grow as a teacher and a facilitator of learning. I realized my strengths and shortcomings. I am grateful to my teachers of BNV and the teachers of GBHSS, Pettah for their constant support and encouragement. They helped me to gain my confidence to teach and be a part of the children's education.
