Phase 2 School Internship Week 5 (1/7-5/7)
"The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet"
Aristotle
Day 1 - There was a quiz competition conducted for UP and HS students in association with the ending of reading week. I had my first observation today.
Day 2 - It was a normal busy day at school. I took classes, did lunch serving and substitution duties.
Day 3 - The second session of my learning package was taken today. The students actively discussed the superstitious practices that they face in their homes with me.
Day 4 - Nothing much happened other than classes. I prepared the draft of achievement test to be conducted in 8C.
Day 5 - My second observation was completed and then I also conducted the achievement test. It was difficult to supervise the class as almost everyone asked doubts about the questions.
As I conclude my fourth week in Fort Girls Mission High School, I can realize my strengths and short comings further more. The observations and remarks obtained from my optional teacher had given me an insight in to the factors that I must improve to become a better teacher.
